At Sweet Basil Nurseries, we’re on a mission to bridge the gap in plant care knowledge, empowering both new and seasoned plant parents. What started as a way to spend time with my grandmother—who nurtured my love for plants in her beautiful, botanical front yard—has blossomed into a commitment to help others create green spaces that bring joy and wellness.

Two years ago, I returned to gardening to support my grandmother as she faced health challenges, and it rekindled my passion for plants. Though it felt daunting at first, I immersed myself in learning—from scientific plant names to proper care techniques—driven to make plant care accessible and enjoyable for everyone. I saw gaps in the market, especially in education and aftercare, and set out to fill those needs by offering expert guidance and support to help every plant parent thrive.
