The spider plant is one of the most popular houseplants grown. In addition to its aesthetic value it’s also known to be an air purifier absorbing harmful chemicals such as formaldehyde and carbon monoxide.
There are over 200 varieties of spider plants but you can narrow them down into variegated and non-variegated. The major differences being the colour and stripes on the leaves.
